In May we were invited into Hexham House for Rachel and Andrew's wedding ceremony with their unrestricted reception taking place on the same date in 2022.Â
It's been incredibly difficult for couples to organise their big day during a pandemic and the restrictions around it but even with the additional obstacles, Rachel and Andrew pulled off a beautiful wedding.
They chose Hexham House as the venue for their wedding ceremony and it's easy to see why. It's a beautiful building and the grounds are pristine. The ceremony was held inside and because of the restrictions still in place, only a small number of people could attend but this did not dull the excitement and anticipation in the air. Everyone was sat in their chairs two meters apart waiting excitedly and when Rachel walked in, you could see the smiles peeking out from under everyone's masks.
The ceremony was short but elegant and the looks exchanged between these two during it were of love and happiness. Â
After they said their "I do's!", we all went outside for some photographs. The weather outside was perfect. It was not too hot or too cold nor was it too bright. It was ideal weather from a photographer's view. We had a great formals session with all the family, we did a confetti toss and ended with a fantastic Bride and Groom session.Â
It was a superb day and we are looking forward to photographing their unrestricted reception next year with all their friends and family!
